What you will do

• Own full-cycle recruiting for Senior AI/ML Engineers, Backend Engineers, and technical roles from sourcing to offer close
• Build proactive sourcing strategies for passive candidates at the AI frontier, including LLM engineers and clinical AI specialists
• Partner with engineering leads and CEO to define role requirements and exceptional talent profiles
• Design and iterate on recruiting processes, candidate experience, and employer brand from scratch
• Track metrics, manage pipelines in ATS, and report funnel health to leadership
• Represent at NYC tech and AI events to build reputation

Requirements

• 5+ years technical recruiting, with 2+ years focused on AI/ML or applied ML roles
• Proven track record closing senior AI engineers in competitive markets
• Ability to discuss model architectures, LLM fine-tuning, agentic systems, and inference pipelines
• Experience building recruiting at early-stage startups
• Strong sourcing skills for hard-to-find engineers
• Based in New York for hybrid onsite (3 days/week in office)

• Experience recruiting for healthcare tech or clinical AI
• Network in NYC AI/ML community
• Prior as first/second recruiter at high-growth startup
