Infrastructure Specialist

Location: The Woodlands, Texas, United States; valid driver’s license and authorization to work in the United States required.

What you will do

• Lead the architecture, design, implementation, and ongoing support of infrastructure solutions across multiple concurrent client projects.
• Design, deploy, and troubleshoot routed and switched LAN, WAN, wireless, LTE/cellular, firewall, cloud, VPN, and remote-access environments.
• Support infrastructure modernization, upgrades, migrations, expansions, and cutovers for enterprise, industrial, utility, and critical infrastructure systems.
• Develop resilient network architectures, IP addressing schemes, segmentation strategies, high-availability designs, and remote-site connectivity solutions.
• Collaborate with project managers, cybersecurity personnel, field teams, internal technical staff, and client stakeholders.
• Create and maintain network diagrams, Visio drawings, implementation plans, cut sheets, standardized configurations, and as-built documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, plus at least seven years of technical experience or an equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience.
• Advanced knowledge of BGP, OSPF, HSRP, VRRP, VLANs, STP, RSTP, RPVST+, and VPC.
• Strong knowledge of IPsec, VPN, secure remote access, packet analysis, routing validation, and protocol-level troubleshooting.
• Experience with Azure and/or AWS networking, VMware or virtualized infrastructure, LTE/cellular connectivity, and cybersecurity practices such as segmentation, firewall policy support, secure access design, and infrastructure hardening.
• Experience in IT, OT, industrial, utility, power, critical infrastructure, consulting, systems integration, or client-facing services environments.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States, hold a valid driver’s license, and complete background, drug, and alcohol testing as required by applicable federal regulations.
