What you will do

• Architect and build intelligent systems powering natural, engaging conversations between users and the platform.
• Lead complex projects by defining scope, setting technical direction, and translating conceptual work into detailed tech plans.
• Own the entire software development lifecycle, from planning and development to validation and maintenance.
• Design experiments and high-value projects based on business and engineering strategies.
• Ensure system quality through rigorous code reviews and providing actionable feedback to the team.
• Mentor engineering hires and level up the team through knowledge sharing sessions.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US or Canada.
• 5+ years of software development experience in production environments.
• 2+ years of experience in a senior engineer role.
• Production expertise with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Proven experience designing RESTful APIs and backend systems with complex business logic.
• Deep expertise in system architecture, design, and operational excellence.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) stack.
