What you will do

• Ship reference implementations and sample apps that demonstrate Ghost's unique capabilities for AI agents.
• Maintain and expand integrations with Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, MCP servers, and agent frameworks like Mastra and LangGraph.
• Create technical content including blog posts, READMEs, tutorials, and videos to bring builds to a wider audience.
• Drive Ghost's storytelling to position the product clearly within the AI agent stack.
• Engage with the developer community via GitHub and Discord to unblock users and provide support.
• Provide critical DX feedback to Engineering and Product teams to refine the product.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience shipping public software through open source or side projects.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL, including knowledge of indexing, transactions, and query debugging.
• Hands-on experience with the modern agent stack (Claude Code, Cursor, LLMs) and opinions on MCP.
• Strong technical writing skills across various formats (tutorials, READMEs, long-form pieces).
• Must be based in or able to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area.

Nice to have

• Track record of maintaining open source projects with active users and contributors.
• Existing audience or following in the AI developer community (GitHub, X, YouTube, Discord).
• Previous experience as a Software Engineer or Developer Advocate at an infrastructure or dev-tool company.
• Familiarity with vector databases, embedding models, and agent evaluation tools.
