Legal Counsel (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid in Warsaw, Poland; Sofia, Bulgaria; or Limassol, Cyprus

What you will do

• Review and interpret master agreements, statements of work, insertion orders, NDAs, and other commercial contracts.
• Identify and mitigate legal and business risks involving liabilities, indemnities, warranties, and contractual breaches.
• Draft and negotiate amendments, addenda, side letters, policies, and complex commercial agreements.
• Verify contracting-party details, group relationships, ultimate beneficial owners, governing law, jurisdiction, renewal, and termination provisions.
• Provide clear feedback on open points and red flags while maintaining contract records, negotiation history, and legal opinions.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, Compliance, and other global internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a legal professional.
• Significant experience working across multiple jurisdictions, including Europe, MENA, the Americas, and APAC.
• Experience drafting group-company policies, complex commercial agreements, and reviewing third-party contracts.
• Ability to work autonomously, make decisions, drive results, and manage multiple legal matters in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong task-management, communication, problem-solving, organisational, and interpersonal skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services, fintech, or another regulated and compliance-heavy industry.
• Experience leading or mentoring legal teams or junior colleagues.
