What you will do

• Supervise the daily editorial vision, suggesting stories and guests for the show.
• Manage and mentor show staff and supervise segment producers' scripts.
• Lead the show from the control room during regular programming and breaking news.
• Drive the show planning process and produce segments when necessary.
• Oversee content production for digital platforms, social media, and DTC products.
• Fill in for the Executive Producer as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 6+ years of editorial experience in a fast-paced newsroom.
• Proven experience in control room operations and breaking news.
• Must be based in New York, NY.
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
• Ability to work weekends and flexible hours under tight deadlines.

Nice to have

• Strong writing skills and sound journalistic judgment.
• Deep knowledge of current events, politics, and American history.
• Experience with field tape production, including scripting and shooting.
• Passion for revealing underreported stories and diverse voices.
