What you will do

• Engineer and design plumbing systems, including medical and laboratory piping and medical gases for healthcare, life sciences, and data centers.
• Perform engineering calculations, system sizing, and equipment selection.
• Manage engineering projects, directing designers and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Conduct data gathering and site assessments at customer facilities.
• Develop bidding documents for process equipment, fabrication, and construction.
• Perform QA/QC reviews to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with applicable codes and standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5-10 years of experience engineering and managing plumbing systems projects for the built environment.
• Must be based in Oahu, Hawaii.
• Proficient knowledge of California Building Code (CBC) and HCAI specific requirements.
• Advanced expertise with Autodesk software (Revit, Navisworks).
• Experience at a design engineering firm.

Nice to have

• Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.E.).
• Client engagement and business development experience.
