Senior Electrical Engineer

Location: On-site in Rochester or Buffalo, New York, USA; travel up to 25%

Salary: $95,000–$135,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Plan and conduct complex engineering assignments using independent judgment.
• Perform electrical engineering designs, calculations, evaluations, technical reports, and system analyses.
• Evaluate substitute equipment and review system adjustments after installation.
• Supervise, coordinate, and review the work of engineers, designers, and CAD operators.
• Represent the firm in meetings and coordinate work across design disciplines and trades.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent.
• Eight years of relevant project engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer license or Engineer-in-Training certification preferred.
• Ability to make independent technical decisions and apply advanced engineering principles.
• Ability to work on-site in Rochester or Buffalo, New York.
