Maintenance Engineer

TL;DR

Maintenance Engineer: Overseeing installation, maintenance, and upgrades of hirify.global’s food packaging and processing equipment with an accent on electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, PLC controls, and production line performance. Focus on conducting corrective/preventive maintenance, executing installations at client sites, and delivering technical training to customer teams across US worksites.

Location: Denton, TX, US (reports to headquarters at 3300 Airport Rd., Denton, TX 76207; 80% domestic travel required to various US worksites; telecommuting permitted 1 day per week). No work visa sponsorship or relocation.

What you will do

• Oversee installation, maintenance, and upgrades of hirify.global equipment including A3Flex, A3speed filling machines, and distribution systems.
• Conduct corrective and preventive maintenance, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues using systematic problem-solving.
• Execute assembly of complete systems, install upgrade kits, and ensure parts availability for operations.
• Analyze technical issues, facilitate meetings to achieve production targets, and follow up on customer concerns.
• Deliver on-site technical training to customer teams, supervisors, and managers on hirify.global line operations.
• Report issues, business opportunities, and service activities while acting as hirify.global ambassador to sustain customer relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical, Automation Engineering or related + 2 years electrical/mechanical maintenance experience; or Associate’s + 4 years.
• Experience in installation/commissioning of production/distribution equipment.
• Corrective/preventive maintenance and electrical/mechanical troubleshooting.
• Training customer technicians on technical service products.
• Claims handling.
• PLC programming with Rockwell Automation, Allen Bradley, RSLogix5000.
