Director of Monetization Strategy (SaaS): Designing and executing pricing and packaging strategies to drive sustainable growth and expand Net Revenue Retention (NRR) with an accent on value-based frameworks and AI-driven orchestration. Location: Must be based in the US (Remote or Hybrid in specific cities including SF, NY, Denver, etc.)
Salary: $172,000 - $260,000

What you will do
- Lead the long-term monetization roadmap, evolving usage-based pricing toward value-based frameworks.
- Act as a cross-functional lead between Product, Marketing, and Sales to optimize value capture and deal velocity.
- Conduct deep-dive competitive analysis and buyer research to identify strategy gaps and market trends.
- Design and optimize product bundles and editions for mid-market and enterprise segments.
- Partner with RevOps to implement pricing changes in CPQ and billing systems and establish discounting guardrails.
- Lead internal enablement for global sales teams to articulate the strategy behind pricing.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in SaaS monetization, management consulting, or strategic finance.
- Direct experience in SaaS monetization, with a specific focus on monetizing AI.
- Strong data analysis skills to identify price elasticity and expansion paths.
- Ability to distill complex economic theories into persuasive narratives for the Executive Leadership Team.
- Must be based in the United States.
Nice to have
- Experience building LLM-based, agentic, or autonomous orchestration systems.
- Experience establishing shared AI platforms or internal developer enablement.
- Familiarity with analytics systems and experimentation workflows.
