TL;DR

Senior Financial Analyst (FP&A): Manage corporate financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting with an accent on process improvements, automation, and strategic insights. Focus on building financial models, analyzing trends, leading month-end closes, and preparing executive presentations.

Location: California (salary range reflects work location)

Salary: $110,000–$140,000

What you will do

  • Manage forecast, budget planning calendar, consolidations, and AOP rollups for reporting.
  • Support strategic long-term business modeling and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly executive presentations, reporting packages, and earnings release analytics.
  • Lead worldwide budget, quarterly/rolling forecasts, and month-end close activities including accruals and revenue/margin analysis.
  • Develop spending drivers, analyze actuals vs. budget, and provide capital purchase insights.
  • Identify process improvements, support financial systems, and drive automation initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
  • 5–7 years of progressive experience in financial planning, analysis, and accounting.
  • Advanced financial acumen, modeling skills, and proficiency in Excel (Vlookups, Sumif, nested If/Then, Pivot Tables).
  • Highly experienced with Oracle, Business Objects, and PowerPoint.
  • Independent, detail-oriented, adaptable multi-tasker with strong collaboration and problem-solving drive.

Nice to have

  • MBA or CPA.
  • Adaptive Insights experience.
