What you will do

• Define and drive the vision for new Therapeutic Applications (TApps) using the Generative Biology platform.
• Lead cross-functional asset teams spanning Biology, Protein Sciences, Data Science/ML, and Early Development.
• Identify high-value disease hypotheses and translate platform capabilities into differentiated programs.
• Manage program-level prioritization, trade-offs, and milestone execution from conception to IND.
• Recruit and mentor high-performing scientific leaders.
• Influence R&D leadership on portfolio balance and long-term strategic investments.

Requirements

• PhD or M.D./Ph.D. in a relevant life sciences discipline.
• ~15+ years of biotech/pharma experience in discovery and early development.
• Proven success advancing biologic programs from early ideation through IND.
• Experience leading cross-functional drug discovery teams in matrixed environments.
• Expertise in complex target biology (e.g., ion channels, membrane proteins).
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Somerville, MA.

• Experience with AI/ML-driven drug discovery or computational protein design.
• Leadership of IND-enabling or early clinical programs.
