Research Operations Specialist (Gamedev): Drive planning, organization, player recruitment and coordination to enable execution of user tests with an accent on research efficiency, quality and playability of Remedy's game titles. Focus on managing participant databases, logistics for playtests, compliance, tools maintenance and collaboration with creative teams across projects.

Hybrid in Helsinki metropolitan area (Espoo studio), Finland or Stockholm, Sweden. If not already in Finland or Sweden, relocation service provided.

What you will do

• Own participant sourcing, recruitment, playtest database management, screening and incentives.
• Coordinate logistics for remote and in-person playtests, including lab setup, scheduling and communication.
• Plan and schedule playtests with User Research team, scaling operations with production needs.
• Maintain UR lab, research tools, hardware and software readiness.
• Ensure legal, ethical and data compliance (GDPR, consent, NDAs).
• Improve research pipelines, tools, templates and documentation.
• Manage Jira processes for UR requests and findings, communicate player insights to stakeholders.
• Manage vendors and external research partners.

Requirements

• Experience in research operations, project management or related field.
• Hands-on with participant databases and recruitment processes.
• Familiarity with consent, NDAs, data protection (GDPR) in user research.
• Skilled in Jira and project management tools.
• Strong collaboration and communication across disciplines, stakeholder management.
• Practical technical know-how for troubleshooting.
• Understanding of game industry.
• Team player who works independently, organized and inclusive.
