IAM Specialist

TL;DR

IAM Specialist (IGA/Azure AD): Implement and configure IGA platforms integrated with Microsoft Entra ID for identity lifecycle management and access governance with an accent on JML automation, RBAC models, and security controls. Focus on designing workflows, integrating authoritative sources, and aligning with ISO 27001 and NIST CSF frameworks.

Location: Hybrid 2/3 days per week in Oxford, BPSS required (eligibility for SC clearance)

Salary: £400-410 per day (Inside IR35)

What you will do

• Implement and configure IGA platforms like SailPoint, Saviynt, Omada, or One Identity
• Integrate IGA solutions with Microsoft Entra ID, hybrid identities, and authoritative sources such as HR systems
• Design and automate JML processes, access request workflows, approvals, and certifications
• Develop RBAC models, role mining, entitlement frameworks, and application connectors
• Troubleshoot provisioning, synchronization, and access issues
• Produce technical documentation, runbooks, and ensure alignment with security standards

Requirements

• Hands-on experience implementing IGA platforms (SailPoint, Saviynt, Omada, One Identity or equivalent)
• Proven integration of IGA with Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD
• Strong understanding of identity lifecycle management and JML automation
• Experience integrating HR systems and authoritative data sources
• Solid knowledge of SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SCIM, Active Directory, and LDAP
• Experience with access certification, governance, troubleshooting, and technical documentation

Nice to have

• Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related STEM field
• Vendor certifications in IGA platforms or Microsoft SC-300
• Experience with SoD, access risk analytics, PowerShell/Python scripting, API integrations
• Familiarity with ITSM workflows, public sector, or critical national infrastructure
