What you will do

• Record financial transactions in the general ledger and post routine and non-routine journal entries.
• Perform monthly balance sheet and vendor account reconciliations, resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Execute month-end and year-end close activities for Canada and Portugal entities according to internal deadlines.
• Own the end-to-end Accounts Payable cycle, including invoice validation, weekly payment runs, and vendor relationship management.
• Review and process employee expense reports ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Prepare financial reports for internal and external stakeholders and provide documentation for audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in general ledger accounting; AP experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in English; additional European languages are advantageous.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems.
• Analytical mindset with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work different hours during month-end closing.
