What you will do

• Maintain and optimize financial ledgers for the hirify.global Group to ensure 100% accuracy and compliance.
• Execute fast and clean month-end and year-end closes (HGB) for the German entity and support subsidiaries.
• Prepare necessary documentation and schedules for annual audits, acting as the primary internal expert for auditors.
• Drive the implementation and optimization of the tool-stack (Light, DATEV, Lucanet) to build a digital and scalable accounting function.
• Review accounting topics to ensure data robustness and implement ways to minimize manual work.
• Support technical consolidation and international alignment for subsidiaries in Spain, UK, US, and Colombia.

Requirements

• 3+ years of work experience as an Accountant, ideally in a fast-paced company.
• In-depth understanding of German tax and accounting standards (HGB).
• German language skills at C2 level and fluency in English.
• Proficiency with DATEV, Lucanet, and Google Sheets.
• Experience with modern ERP/Accounting tools and a mindset for process automation.
• Must be based in Germany, the UK, Portugal, the Netherlands, or Spain.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of IFRS.
• Advanced degree or professional qualification in accounting.
