What you will do

• Manage the full billing cycle, ensuring accurate and timely issuance of invoices for sales, deployments, and recurring services across global markets.
• Monitor aging reports and take ownership of international collections to ensure timely payments.
• Reconcile customer accounts and payments within the ERP to ensure spotless financial records.
• Collaborate with Sales, Logistics, and D&M departments to resolve billing discrepancies and streamline the order-to-cash process.
• Optimize the dunning process by implementing automated workflows to reduce Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
• Support Treasury with weekly cash-in forecasts and assist in month-end closing activities for revenue recognition and audit purposes.

Requirements

• 3–4 years of experience in Finance, specifically in Accounts Receivable or Billing functions.
• Strong understanding of VAT regulations and international invoicing requirements.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Spreadsheets for managing large datasets.
• Fluency in both English and Portuguese is required.
• Must be based in or able to work in Lisbon, Portugal (Hybrid).
• Proactive, solution-oriented approach with a focus on deadlines.

• Direct experience with Odoo ERP.
• Experience working in a high-growth startup or scale-up environment.
