Associate Director (Healthcare Supply Chain)

Location: Remote - USA. Travel as needed, up to 75%. Candidate must be able to verify legal right to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.

Salary: $150,000–$250,000 per year.

What you will do

• Lead supply chain workstreams across operational transformation and performance improvement engagements for healthcare clients.
• Establish and improve procurement, materials management, logistics, inventory distribution, and infrastructure processes across healthcare facilities.
• Design inventory controls, PAR levels, performance metrics, and cost-reduction initiatives while balancing availability, carrying costs, storage costs, and customer satisfaction.
• Apply LEAN principles, change management, continuous improvement, and patient-safety practices to supply chain operations.
• Leverage materials management, inventory, surgical information, patient charge, point-of-use, and e-commerce technology systems.
• Manage junior staff and client relationships; oversee analysis, quality control, deliverables, presentations, training, and stakeholder engagement with clinical and physician leaders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent training and experience.
• 8–10 years of managerial experience in a healthcare environment.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Extensive knowledge of procure-to-pay, supply chain logistics, inventory management, LEAN or other process improvement techniques, and distribution facilities.
• Demonstrated experience delivering projects across the full lifecycle of assessment, design, and implementation support.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and navigate stairs or uneven surfaces; occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds; and communicate clearly in person and electronically.
• Ability to travel as needed, up to 75%.

Nice to have

• 5+ years of healthcare advisory or consulting experience in supply chain and other operational areas affecting the supply chain function.
