Managing Consultant - Corporate Finance - Turnaround & Restructuring

Location: Boston, MA; onsite. Willingness to travel as needed is required.

Salary: $120,000–$185,000 per year.

What you will do

• Support day-to-day activities for Corporate Finance Turnaround & Restructuring client service teams.
• Manage junior team members across multiple engagement tasks, including financial modeling and client presentations.
• Build and oversee 13-week cash flow, three-statement, and pro-forma scenario models.
• Prepare reports, written analyses, presentations, and other client deliverables.
• Collaborate with T&R experts, BRG professionals, external firms, and client contacts to achieve engagement objectives.
• Contribute to marketing, client pitches, product development, and the growth of the consulting practice while developing trusted client relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Accounting/Finance, Management, Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 7+ years of work experience, ideally in consulting or professional services.
• Expertise in financial modeling and analysis, particularly in Excel, including three-statement models, cash flows, and scenario analyses.
• Ability to manage and analyze large volumes of financial and operational data and develop insights and recommendations from qualitative and quantitative analysis.
• Ability to interact with junior and senior team members, senior management, stakeholders, and other professionals.
• Strong problem-solving and project management skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills.
• Familiarity with financial research tools such as Capital IQ and Bloomberg.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Nice to have

• CFA, CPA or equivalent qualification.
• Technical or GAAP accounting expertise.
