Accountant

TL;DR

Accountant: Maintaining accounting records of fixed assets including leasing, account assignment of purchase documents, and monitoring settlements with an accent on IFRS, tax issues (CIT, VAT, WHT), and Polish Accounting Act. Focus on preparing statements and reports, participating in period closing, and supporting financial statements.

Location: Office-First hybrid from Warsaw studio, Poland.

Salary: 8 200 – 11 200 PLN gross monthly.

What you will do

• Maintain accounting records of fixed assets including leasing and investment properties.
• Handle account assignment and booking of purchase documents.
• Monitor accounting entries, settlements, and reconcile balances.
• Prepare statements and reports related to accounting duties.
• Participate in period closing process and support financial statement preparation.
• Assist with ongoing work in the accounting department.

Requirements

• Min. 2 years of experience as an Accountant.
• Master’s degree in economics or related field.
• Knowledge of English at a level that allows free communication - must.
• Knowledge of IFRS, tax issues (CIT, VAT, WHT), and Polish Accounting Act.
• Very good knowledge of Excel.
• Creative problem-solver, ability to work individually and in a team, commitment, meticulousness, and responsibility.
