TL;DR

Financial Accountant (Fintech): Managing accounting for individual entities according to IFRS and handling revenue/cost reviews with an accent on financial control and intercompany reconciliations. Focus on preparation of management accounts, ensuring compliance with IAS/IFRS, and optimizing financial processes within a global fintech environment.

Location: Hybrid in Kraków, Poland (3 days in office)

Salary: starting from 10,000 PLN

What you will do

  • Prepare management and financial accounts, including the review and oversight of monthly results for group entities.
  • Manage standard bookings for purchase orders, invoices, prepayments, fixed assets, and accruals.
  • Perform balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations in line with transfer pricing rules.
  • Ensure all financial reporting is conducted in accordance with International Accounting Standards (IAS/IFRS).
  • Coordinate indirect and operational tax-related activities.
  • Participate in process improvement projects and management analysis.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in GL/RtR.
  • Educational background in finance and accounting.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities.
  • Fluent English proficiency.
  • Ability to work effectively in an international corporate environment.
  • Must be based in or able to work in Kraków, Poland.

Nice to have

  • Understanding of Polish GAAP and the local tax framework.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate).
