TL;DR

Consultant (HEOR/Epidemiology): Generating real-world evidence and conducting epidemiological research to solve complex clinical and regulatory challenges with an accent on healthcare data analysis and scientific publication. Focus on designing observational studies, applying advanced causal inference methods, and delivering data-driven insights for life sciences clients.

Location: Hybrid; Must be based in or be able to work from Boston, MA, New York, NY, or Washington, DC. Must have legal right to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.

Salary: $130,000 - $190,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop and implement research methodologies for HEOR and pharmacoepidemiological research.
• Analyze diverse healthcare data (claims, EHR, registries) using SQL, R, SAS, Stata, or Python.
• Design client deliverables and contribute to technical study reports.
• Plan and manage small to medium client engagements, prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Supervise junior staff, monitoring progress and reviewing work for accuracy.
• Support business development initiatives and internal staff training and recruiting.

Requirements

• PhD in Epidemiology (highly preferred), Biostatistics, or Health Science.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in RWE research, consulting, or the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., SQL, R, SAS, Stata, Python).
• Experience preparing peer-reviewed publications, conference abstracts, and regulatory submissions.
• Legal right to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for conveying complex concepts to diverse audiences.
