TL;DR

What you will do

  • Lead complex performance improvement projects and oversee project teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Serve as an Engagement Director for small projects or as a Subject Matter Expert in core clinical knowledge areas.
  • Develop project plans and implement deliverables to improve clinical quality, throughput, and operational efficiency.
  • Create client-facing materials and interface directly with healthcare executives to advance project goals.
  • Mentor and coach junior staff while contributing to the internal advancement of the firm.
  • Develop thought leadership through white papers, podcasts, and conference presentations.

Requirements

  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
  • 6+ years of experience in clinical performance improvement consulting OR 10+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • At least 5 years of director-level leadership experience in a relevant healthcare role.
  • Bachelor's degree in health or related field; Master's degree preferred (or must be earned within 3 years of hire).
  • Advanced proficiency in data analytics and benchmarking tools.
  • Deep operational knowledge of Emergency Departments, including EMTALA and ESI triage standards.

Nice to have

  • Board Certification in Emergency Nursing or Nurse Executive.
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or PMP Certification.
  • Pre-hospital or inter-facility Emergency Services clinical experience (e.g., NRP, CTRN, CFRN).
  • Experience leading or managing multi-station EMS agencies.
