What you will do
- Lead complex performance improvement projects and oversee project teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Serve as an Engagement Director for small projects or as a Subject Matter Expert in core clinical knowledge areas.
- Develop project plans and implement deliverables to improve clinical quality, throughput, and operational efficiency.
- Create client-facing materials and interface directly with healthcare executives to advance project goals.
- Mentor and coach junior staff while contributing to the internal advancement of the firm.
- Develop thought leadership through white papers, podcasts, and conference presentations.
Requirements
- Must have legal right to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
- 6+ years of experience in clinical performance improvement consulting OR 10+ years of relevant industry experience.
- At least 5 years of director-level leadership experience in a relevant healthcare role.
- Bachelor's degree in health or related field; Master's degree preferred (or must be earned within 3 years of hire).
- Advanced proficiency in data analytics and benchmarking tools.
- Deep operational knowledge of Emergency Departments, including EMTALA and ESI triage standards.
Nice to have
- Board Certification in Emergency Nursing or Nurse Executive.
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or PMP Certification.
- Pre-hospital or inter-facility Emergency Services clinical experience (e.g., NRP, CTRN, CFRN).
- Experience leading or managing multi-station EMS agencies.
