Senior Associate Salary Range: $85,000 – $115,000 per year.

What you will do

  • Support medical record audits to assess coding accuracy and compliant claims submission, including document management and research.
  • Assist with audit methodology, writing PowerPoint slides, and compiling Excel spreadsheets under senior direction.
  • Analyze audit findings to identify trends in coding and documentation, communicating results and improvement recommendations.
  • Monitor government compliance resources, publications, and enforcement activities in high-risk areas.
  • Pursue coding certifications (e.g., CPC) within first 18 months, with tuition paid.
  • Develop analyses from transactional/financial data, generate client deliverables, and contribute to expert reports.

Requirements

  • 4-year undergraduate degree (BS/BA).
  • 0-2 years experience with interest in healthcare industry, billing, coding compliance, or administration.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Word); ability to research coding guidelines and healthcare payment systems.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, time management, and communication skills; attention to detail.
  • Keen interest in healthcare compliance and policy; team-oriented mindset.
  • Legal right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Nice to have

  • Certified in medical auditing.
  • Undergraduate studies in healthcare sector/administration/management.
  • Experience in healthcare coding, billing, compliance, or administration.
