TL;DR
Senior Software Engineer/Data Engineer (.Net/SQL/Angular): Design and implement software enhancements and bug fixes for Clinical Solutions products with an accent on data processing, API development, and front-end improvements. Focus on mentoring developers, coordinating issue resolution, and applying AI-first planning, development, and testing techniques.
Location: Hybrid working mode in the United States (Remote USA; office attendance 3 days/week - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday - in Chicago, IL; Boston, MA; or South Bend, IN if near a hub)
Salary: $100,000–$130,000 base (plus discretionary bonus)

What you will do
- Design and implement front-end application enhancements, bug fixes, and supporting documentation based on technical specifications.
- Mentor software developers, train on standards, and conduct peer technical reviews.
- Participate in iteration/release planning, adhere to design/testing principles, and prepare work for deployment.
- Troubleshoot problems, coordinate issue resolution with IT/business teams, and provide follow-up support.
- Ensure team work quality, update design specs, and follow agile processes.
Requirements
- 6+ years experience as Data Engineer/DBA and in software development
- Strong SQL knowledge (Microsoft SQL Server), .Net Core platform, web front-end (Angular/React, JavaScript, CSS), JSON/API development
- Understanding of data structures, object-oriented techniques, basic statistics, agile methodologies
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent; excellent communication, problem-solving, multi-tasking skills
- Experience with code reviews, presenting best practices, TDD

- Containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), CI/CD, GitLab
- AI models/tools/techniques familiarity
