TL;DR

Senior Software Engineer (.NET): Design and implement software application enhancements, bug fixes, and support Clinical Solutions with an accent on .NET Core development, API integration, and cloud infrastructure. Focus on mentoring developers, coordinating issue resolution, and ensuring code quality through reviews and agile processes.

Location: Hybrid in Vancouver, Canada office (three days a week in office).

Salary: $110,000–$140,000

What you will do

  • Design and implement software enhancements and bug fixes based on general instructions.
  • Participate in iteration planning, peer reviews, and release processes.
  • Troubleshoot issues, provide support, and coordinate with IT and business teams.
  • Mentor junior developers and ensure team adherence to standards and quality.
  • Author documentation and update design specifications as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; 4+ years in .NET Core development.
  • Strong .NET skills, JSON/API development, SQL (Microsoft SQL Server), data structures, and OO techniques.
  • Experience with code reviews, agile methodologies, and communicating best practices.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.

Nice to have

  • CI/CD, IaC (Terraform, Ansible), Azure services (AKS, App Service, SQL, Service Bus).
  • GitLab, test-driven development, Angular/JavaScript/CSS, containerization.
  • Knowledge of AI tools like Windsurf/Cursor, agentic spec-driven development.
