What you will do

• Architect and build server-side systems and LLM orchestration layers for acquisition journeys.
• Design APIs, data pipelines, and inference infrastructure for interactive tools and resources.
• Integrate large language models into production-grade services, managing prompt pipelines, routing, and fallback logic.
• Implement security guardrails, content filtering, PII handling, and rate limiting for AI-driven features.
• Develop tooling and platforms to support interactive content like calculators, generators, and templates.
• Collaborate across design and engineering teams to create new site capabilities for global users.

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend development experience with an emphasis on APIs and user-facing services.
• Experience writing clear, elegant code in a collaborative team environment.
• Familiarity with LLM concepts including prompt engineering, token management, RAG, or function calling.
• Experience building and operating distributed backend systems (service-oriented architectures, async processing, caching).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with data pipeline orchestration using Airflow, Dagster, Temporal, or similar tools.
• Proficiency with React, focusing on interactions, animation, performance, and polish.
• Experience with prompt versioning, A/B testing model outputs, or building model gateway/routing layers.
• Knowledge of synthetic monitoring or accessibility testing.
