Base salary: $176,000 - $200,000

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain medium to large-scale projects related to logging and experimentation as subject matter expert for Vancouver site.
• Scale and optimize in-house experimentation and feature flagging framework for reliable, low-latency execution in critical user paths.
• Define and implement next-generation logging APIs with high-fidelity data contracts for observability challenges.
• Curate observability experience interfacing vendor capabilities and internal workflows for monitoring and debugging.
• Collaborate with Product, Infrastructure, and Data Science teams to align infrastructure with company strategy.
• Write high-quality design docs and documentation to scale impact across teams.

Requirements

• Software, Data, or Infrastructure Engineering background with production-grade code experience in application development and data-intensive backends.
• 5+ years designing and shipping production-ready systems focused on scalable backend services, distributed systems, or cloud-native infrastructure.
• Familiarity with distributed data processing, experiment/feature flag systems, or modern observability/logging platforms (or strong interest to learn).
• Curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance productivity.
• Strong competencies in solving problems across the stack and complex infrastructure rollouts.
