Principal ASIC Design Verification Engineer (Space)

Salary: $190,000 – $285,000 + equity

What you will do

• Develop and execute verification plans for block-level, subsystem-level, and full-chip environments.
• Build SystemVerilog/UVM test benches, including agents, monitors, scoreboards, and coverage models.
• Drive constrained-random and directed testing strategies to validate functionality and corner cases.
• Perform root-cause analysis of failures in collaboration with RTL designers.
• Implement and maintain functional, code, and assertion coverage to ensure sign-off closure.
• Manage regression testing and CI pipelines to ensure high test throughput and fast debug iterations.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Person (citizen, lawful permanent resident, etc.) per ITAR regulations.
• Must be based in the United States.
• 10+ years of experience in ASIC/SoC verification.
• B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency with SystemVerilog, UVM, and simulation tools like VCS, Xcelium, or Questa.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or TCL.

Nice to have

• Experience in space, telecom, or RF/digital mixed systems.
• Experience with embedded processor-based designs and firmware coding in C/C++.
• Knowledge of low power verification and analog behavioral models.
• Familiarity with physical design flows.
