What you will do

• Collaborate with Autonomy Integration group and stakeholders to drive cross-functional design and implementation.
• Develop framework and interfaces for Motion Planning algorithms integration.
• Build onboard infrastructure for scenario detection and data capture to improve autonomy stack.
• Enhance Planner robustness, maintainability, flexibility, and testability.
• Architect and optimize code paths for minimal latency in safety-critical components.
• Improve world representation and data encoding for learned and engineered planning.

Requirements

• Expertise in Modern C++ for latency-sensitive and safety-critical applications.
• 2+ years industry experience in software engineering focused on robotics or distributed/asynchronous systems.
• Ability to thrive in cross-functional environments across software architecture, algorithms, data analysis, and validation.
• Solid understanding of software best practices: architecture design, code maintainability, test-driven development, requirements verification.
• Demonstrated independent execution: accurate estimation, on-schedule delivery, effective blocker communication.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting, data analysis, and automation.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in Robotics, Computer Science, or equivalent experience in autonomous vehicles/robotics.
• Familiarity with Motion Planning algorithms or control systems in automotive, aerospace, robotics.
• Experience in regulated, safety-critical environments with systems engineering or requirements-driven development.
