What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise GIS datasets, services, and data models for facility and campus operations, including advanced spatial analysis and visualization.
• Integrate BIM and CAD sources (Revit, IFC/COBie) into GIS, configure ArcGIS Indoors models (Sites, Facilities, Levels, Units, Zones), and manage web/mobile applications for wayfinding and asset mapping.
• Develop ETL pipelines and geoprocessing workflows using Python/ArcPy, ModelBuilder, or FME to transform BIM updates into GIS.
• Lead projects as technical expert: gather requirements, coordinate tasks, mentor staff, facilitate training, and advise leadership on geospatial capabilities.
• Ensure compliance with government policies, maintain documentation, and identify process improvements.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship required; must pass background checks and comply with government security/facility rules.
• Bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years GIS experience with Esri ArcGIS Pro, Enterprise/Online; managing datasets/services; multi-stakeholder delivery.
• Experience integrating BIM/CAD (Revit, floor plans) into GIS; facility/building-level data (floor plans, rooms, assets).
• Proficiency in Python/ArcPy or similar for automation; project leadership and mentoring.
• Strong communication skills for non-technical stakeholders; eligibility for government contracts.

Nice to have

• Master’s in GIS/AEC field.
• Direct ArcGIS Indoors experience or indoor mapping.
• Federal government project experience; BIM tools (Revit, Navisworks, IFC/COBie).
• 3D GIS, cloud databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Azure/AWS).
• Facility/asset management knowledge.
