What you will do

• Lead setup, execution, and analysis of tests on electronic hardware, circuit boards, and spacecraft power systems.
• Troubleshoot complex electronics, test setups, and anomalies with engineering teams.
• Support environmental and functional testing including vibration, thermal vacuum, and EMI/EMC.
• Design and fabricate test hardware, harnessing, and modular reusable test systems.
• Develop test automation software and drivers in Linux, Python, C++, Rust.
• Lead satellite subsystem test campaigns, data acquisition systems, and project management of test assets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, computer, or relevant engineering discipline or equivalent.
• 2+ years in hardware testing, validation, or related roles.
• Strong programming in Python, C++, Rust.
• Solid understanding of electronic circuits, schematics, components.
• U.S. Person as defined by ITAR (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or protected individual).
• Experience with data acquisition, controls, test equipment.

Nice to have

• Designing multi-layer PCBAs for high-power or avionics.
• Analog control loops, solid state switches, motor inverters, EMI/EMC, sensor conditioning.
• LTspice, component selection for radiation environments.
• SMC-S-016 or MIL-STD-810 testing methods.
• Power processing units for electric propulsion.
