Salary: £64,000 – £75,000 per annum + £5,441 London weighting allowance

What you will do

• Lead and inspire multiple Operations teams on broadcast platforms, ensuring high performance and operational excellence.
• Partner with senior editorial and production leaders to deliver flagship TV output like hirify.global News at Six and Ten, Newsnight, and international services.
• Manage operational budgets, contracts, and forecasting for value and financial control.
• Drive innovation through industry trends, best practices, and efficient approaches.
• Foster collaboration across London and hirify.global sites, building trade union relationships.
• Handle risk management and safe delivery in 24/7 environment, including out-of-hours duties.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading operational/content teams in television environment.
• Strong understanding of TV studio, gallery, and broadcast operations.
• Empowering leadership style to coach and develop others.
• Excellent communication to influence and collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Proactive problem-solving for complex operational challenges.

Nice to have

• Budget management, forecasting, and contract negotiations.
• Global or rolling news production experience.
• Industrial relations with trade unions.
