What you will do

• Lead and manage a team of credit hire handlers within the mitigation department.
• Oversee all aspects of people management, including performance reviews, quality auditing, and staff welfare.
• Perform regular file audits to identify training needs and ensure correct liability decisions.
• Act as a key link between the mitigation department and the wider business to maintain awareness.
• Mentor and coach the team on technical knowledge regarding indemnity, liability, and credit hire.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of new claims management processes.

Requirements

• Experience in motor claims is essential.
• Proven people management experience is essential.
• Must be based in or able to work in Liverpool.
• Must have at least one year remaining on a Graduate or Post-Study Work visa (no sponsorship available).
• Strong communication, persuasion, and problem-solving skills.
