Commissioning Engineer - Renewable Gas

What you will do

• Execute commissioning on mechanical, electrical, and process systems for Renewable Gas plants
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors for safe and timely works
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions
• Prepare commissioning documentation including test protocols, punch lists, and handover dossiers
• Ensure compliance with HSE policies, project requirements, and regulations

Requirements

• Proven experience as Commissioning Engineer on Renewable Gas or AD plants
• Strong understanding of process systems, gas upgrading, utilities, and balance of plant
• Experience on complex construction and commissioning projects
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across projects
• Knowledge of P&IDs, electrical drawings, DCS systems, and commissioning processes

Nice to have

• HSE qualifications (SMSTS / IOSH / NEBOSH) and hazardous area certification (CompEx)
• Additional languages (e.g. German)
