Senior Designer

Location: Remote (nationwide US)

Salary: $125,000 - $160,000

What you will do

• Lead design initiatives including briefs, discovery artifacts, sketches, wireframes, UX flows, prototypes, and design system contributions.
• Conduct user research, heuristic evaluations, competitive analyses, and facilitate cross-functional discussions.
• Provide mentorship, actionable feedback to designers, and manage accessibility tasks like 508 compliance.
• Build relationships with stakeholders, navigate ambiguous requirements, and identify risks with mitigation recommendations.
• Develop content for websites/applications and deliver compelling presentations distilling complex issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience (or equivalent)
• Experience analyzing user needs, functional allocation, and resource identification for complex systems.
• Exceptional oral/written communication and prior mentoring of junior team members.
• Proficiency with design tools like Figma, Miro, Adobe.
• Understanding of design principles including typography, hierarchy, and human-centered processes.

Nice to have

• Prior government contracting experience.
