What you will do

• Own the end-to-end evolution of the design system from foundations to complex interactive patterns.
• Build and maintain a scalable token architecture bridging design and engineering.
• Define component specifications, usage guidelines, and accessibility requirements.
• Partner with front-end engineers to ensure component parity and WCAG 2.1 AA compliance.
• Audit existing product UIs to identify inconsistencies and establish a prioritized roadmap.
• Establish governance processes including versioning, deprecation, and contribution models.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of UX/UI design experience, with at least 3 years in a dedicated design systems role.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US or Canada.
• Expert-level proficiency in Figma (variants, auto-layout, design tokens, prototyping).
• Strong understanding of front-end implementation (HTML, CSS, React/Angular/Web Components).
• Solid knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards.
• Experience working with globally distributed teams across different time zones.
