What you will do

• Procure complex sub-systems, vacuum chambers, and mechatronics systems using MRP/SAP.
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, and contracts to ensure optimal total cost of ownership.
• Manage the full purchase order lifecycle from requisition to invoice resolution and material acceptance.
• Analyze and resolve complex supply chain bottlenecks independently to prevent economic loss.
• Develop and publish purchasing metrics and reports for stakeholders and upper management.
• Lead global sourcing strategies and introduce best-in-class supply chain practices.

Requirements

• BS degree in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain.
• Minimum 12 years of purchasing experience.
• Expertise in MRP systems, preferably SAP, and general ERP procurement processes.
• Strong knowledge of Purchasing Law as applied to procurement functions.
• Proficiency in MS Office, specifically advanced Excel skills.
• Must be based in or able to work in Penang, Malaysia.
