Salary: $196,000 - $250,000 pa

What you will do
- Own and execute the overall fintech operations strategy for payments, fraud, and first-line compliance.
- Lead day-to-day payment operations across multiple rails including cards, SEPA, APMs, and wallets.
- Oversee first-line fraud and risk operations, including rule design, monitoring, and investigations.
- Manage chargeback and dispute operations to improve recovery rates and maintain scheme metrics.
- Lead first-line compliance operations including KYC/KYB, transaction monitoring, and sanctions screening.
- Build and develop a high-performing team of 15–16 people, managing four direct reports.
Requirements
- 8+ years of operational leadership experience within payments, fintech, or regulated financial services.
- Proven ownership of end-to-end payment operations, including settlements and reconciliation.
- Experience leading fraud and first-line compliance teams in a regulated context.
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead teams of 15+ people, including other managers.
- Must be based in the specified US states to be eligible for the position.
- Strong stakeholder management skills to collaborate with Product, Engineering, Risk, and Finance teams.
