What you will do
- Act as the primary technical lead on qualified opportunities, partnering with Account Executives to drive net-new ARR and account expansion.
- Conduct deep discovery with technical and business stakeholders to translate pain points into a credible solution narrative.
- Lead technical workshops, product demonstrations, and the scoping of Proof of Concepts (POCs).
- Manage technical objections and deliver comprehensive responses to RFP/RFI documents.
- Collaborate with Solution Architecture to shape the win and provide clean handovers to the Solution Delivery team.
- Feed competitive intelligence and product gaps back to Product and Engineering leadership.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in customer-facing pre-sales, solutions engineering, or technical consulting, ideally within a SaaS environment.
- Deep technical expertise in either payments (EMV 3DS, issuer/acquirer integrations) or authentication (SCA, MFA, SDK integration).
- Working fluency across both payments and authentication domains.
- Proven track record of maintaining technical credibility with both technical and executive audiences.
- Experience working within regulated financial services environments.
- Must be based in the UK.
