What you will do

  • Maintain a transparent view of the entire Technology portfolio, tracking all CAPEX and OPEX work.
  • Design and embed governance frameworks and reporting tools to monitor performance and spending.
  • Lead CAPEX vs OPEX classification and ensure organizational alignment on financial metrics.
  • Provide data-driven insights to leadership to facilitate decisions on project prioritization and resource allocation.
  • Support the development of accurate, consistent, and value-driven business cases.
  • Manage R&D tax claims for Product and Technology teams and produce concise executive reports.

Requirements

  • Solid background in project and programme governance within scaling technology companies.
  • Strong commercial acumen and practical experience with CAPEX/OPEX accounting.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into business cases, audits, and assessments.
  • Proficiency with PPM tools such as Linear, Miro, PowerBI, or Looker, and expert-level Excel/Google Sheets skills.
  • Grasp of financial modelling (NPV, IRR, Payback Periods) and advanced risk modelling capability.
  • Ability to build effective partnerships with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
