TL;DR
Field Service Engineer (POS Hardware): Installation, maintenance, and repairs on Point of Sale systems, self-service checkouts, servers, and peripherals within an assigned territory in Germany with an accent on ensuring continuity of customer operations and high customer satisfaction. Focus on diagnosing problems, replacing components, performing preventative maintenance, and meeting Service Level Agreements (SLA).

What you will do
- Install, maintain, and repair equipment including POS, self-service checkouts, servers, handheld terminals, and peripherals.
- Diagnose issues, replace components, and perform preventative maintenance to resolve customer problems and meet SLAs.
- Assist in site preparation, cable installation, equipment staging, and testing.
- Build customer relationships, escalate issues as needed, and maintain parts inventory and accurate reporting.
- Manage assets like tools, vehicles, and documentation.
- Participate in shift patterns, including evenings, weekends, and occasional night shifts.
Requirements
- Clean Driving License required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
- Basic computer skills: Windows OS, Microsoft Office.
- Experience in PC hardware maintenance, servers, peripherals, routers, networks, switches, hubs.
- High mechanical/electrical aptitude, problem-solving skills, ability to work under pressure and flexible schedule including nights/weekends/on-call.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer relationship skills.
