What you will do

• Design and implement PHY validation frameworks focusing on automation, scalability, and modularity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional hardware, firmware, and test engineering teams to define validation goals and automation strategies.
• Develop test infrastructure and automation tools to ensure reliable and repeatable validation workflows.
• Integrate DUTs, measurement instruments, and data acquisition systems into the validation framework.
• Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and automated reporting.
• Mentor junior engineers and establish software engineering best practices for validation methodology.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience or Master's degree with 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Proficiency in Python, C++, C#, or similar modern programming languages.
• Experience designing and implementing automation frameworks or validation infrastructure.
• Familiarity with PHY layer concepts such as SERDES, USB, PCIe, and Ethernet.
• Hands-on experience with test equipment (oscilloscopes, BERTs) and integration via APIs like SCPI, VISA, or gRPC.
• Must be eligible to access export-controlled information under U.S. export control laws (EAR).

Nice to have

• Experience developing test automation systems in hardware validation or lab environments.
• Knowledge of data analysis tools such as Pandas, NumPy, or MATLAB.
• Familiarity with hardware bring-up, signal integrity, or post-silicon validation processes.
