Project Engineer (Electrical)

TL;DR

Project Engineer (Electrical): Developing and executing customized electrical designs for MWM Power Plant Solutions, including containerized CHP systems, with an accent on system integration and technical specification. Focus on creating wiring diagrams, designing LV/MV switchgear, and supporting the full project lifecycle from offer to commissioning.

Location: Onsite in Beijing or Shanghai, China. Visa sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Develop electrical designs for Power Plant Solutions, including CHP systems and building integration.
• Create and maintain single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, and operation philosophies.
• Design auxiliary control panels and LV/MV switchgear for implementation by third-party suppliers.
• Manage engineering activities across all phases: offer, design, order execution, and site support.
• Provide technical support to the Sales Organization during office work and customer visits.
• Collaborate with international cross-functional teams on global innovative projects.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable technical qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in plant engineering, ideally with gas engine-based CHP plants.
• Strong knowledge of electrical design tools, preferably EPLAN or equivalent.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).
• Ability to work onsite 5 days a week in China.
• Willingness to travel internationally.
