What you will do

• Implement cloud backend APIs using Python, Django, and Django Rest Framework (DRF).
• Develop highly parallelized processing tasks for large datasets (up to 100s of GBs) using Celery.
• Design and deploy code to AWS environments leveraging EKS, S3, and CloudFront.
• Integrate cutting-edge algorithms from the research team into production codebases.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineering leadership to align technical objectives with business deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 2+ years of production experience with Python and web frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Experience processing large datasets using Numpy.
• Strong fundamentals in git, unit testing, module design, and parallelism/concurrency.
• Experience with Linux server administration, Docker deployments, and productionizing systems.
• Legal authorization to work in the US without sponsorship is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Agile Development practices.
• Proficiency with AWS services (EKS, S3, CloudFront).
• Experience with image processing pipelines or image acquisition.
• Knowledge of Linux system configuration and workflow automation with Ansible.
