What you will do

• Transform, model, and integrate raw healthcare data from diverse sources into high-quality intelligence products using statistical techniques.
• Research and develop new statistical approaches and data types to extend core healthcare data assets.
• Lead the full development cycle of features from customer problem definition to final solution delivery.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to influence the product roadmap and development plans.
• Provide thought leadership on data science techniques and mentor junior data engineers.
• Document technical concepts, schemas, and data product guidelines for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in data science or similar roles delivering analytic models as data products.
• Professional experience working with time series, geospatial, and/or demographic datasets for forecasting and predictions.
• Ability to extract meaningful signals and information from complex, real-world datasets.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical requirements and code to non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency with Python and statistical libraries.
• Must have an eligible work permit in the USA.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with BigQuery, Google Cloud Storage, dbt, and Dagster.
• Experience with insurance billing and other healthcare datasets.
• Experience incorporating large language models (LLMs) into development workflows.
