Salary: $129,600 - $178,200

What you will do

• Design and maintain data solutions to deliver oncology research insights for life science partners.
• Collaborate with quantitative scientists, clinical analysts, and oncologists to translate research needs into technical specifications.
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines ensuring data quality and contractual compliance.
• Manage CI/CD processes, investigate root causes of pipeline failures, and implement improvements.
• Participate in design and code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
• Utilize AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate development while maintaining code quality.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of professional experience in software or data engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and working with Snowflake.
• Proficiency with AWS and Docker.
• Must be based in New York and able to work from the office 3 days a week.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience in healthcare or with healthcare data standards.
• Previous experience in solutions engineering or forward deployed roles.
• Experience with AI tools like Cursor or Claude Code.
• Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in computer science, data science, or a related field.
