What you will do

• Serve as the primary technical contact for NASCAR partners regarding Chevrolet-submitted engine components.
• Collaborate across design, calibration, testing, manufacturing, and VDDV functions.
• Plan and analyze non-firing driveline tests to support development and validation activities.
• Partner with race teams to identify reliability and performance improvement opportunities.
• Communicate technical requirements to suppliers and resolve engineering issues.
• Summarize test results and best practices for program stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• 3–5 years of professional motorsport engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of engine development, troubleshooting, and control system interactions.
• Data-driven approach to problem solving and strong analytical capabilities.
• Willingness and ability to travel 3–6 times per year to partner facilities and races.
• Ability to maintain composure and judgment in high-pressure, time-critical situations.

Nice to have

• Experience with engine dynamometer testing and calibration.
• Internal combustion engine (ICE) design for high-performance or racing applications.
• Proficiency with Siemens NX and Teamcenter.
• Knowledge of GD&T and engine management systems.
• Exposure to hybrid powertrain systems or high-voltage electrification.
