What you will do

• Review software license, hardware, and services contracts to determine revenue accounting based on ASC 606 and ASC 842.
• Prepare detailed contract memos identifying key arrangement components and the five steps of revenue recognition.
• Develop and maintain recurring and ad hoc analytical reports for revenue-related accounts.
• Lead quarterly reviews and annual audits, ensuring compliance with SOX 404 requirements.
• Manage quarter-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and daily revenue transactions.
• Drive and contribute to special financial projects as needed.

Requirements

• 5-6 years of industry or public accounting (Big 4) experience.
• Strong professional knowledge of ASC 606 and related guidance.
• BS in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.

Nice to have

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
• Hands-on experience with SAP.
• Deep knowledge of ASC 842.
