What you will do
- Own full sales cycle from inbound lead to close for sub-250 employee accounts, emphasizing speed and technical depth.
- Engage with data engineers and technical founders to map use cases, data volumes, and infrastructure to .
- Troubleshoot schema design, ingestion, and integration issues during evaluations as a technical advisor.
- Identify expansions in self-serve base and partner with Solutions Engineers on complex deals.
- Maintain pipeline hygiene in Salesforce and contribute to playbooks and objection handling.
- Participate in developer events, meetups, and forums.
Requirements
- United States-based; technical foundation from data engineering, solutions architecture, or software engineering roles.
- Comfort with modern data stack: columnar databases, Kafka/Kinesis streaming, cloud infrastructure, SQL analytics.
- Customer-facing experience in pre-sales, TAM, or solutions engineering.
- Ability to drive urgency, communicate complex ideas clearly, and operate autonomously.
- Curiosity about business drivers and ownership mentality.
